Memory of a Winter Ago (complete tune)

I showed this to darnright (who seems to be my testing ground) and he liked it so I'll throw it up here. It is a little take on a major version of the chord changes from Doxy. It is a bit slower than the original as well (142 vs 92) and a new melody. Let me know what you think of the guitar solo, guitar playing, bass playing, drums etc. Any suggestions or criticisms are welcome and encouraged!!

Re: Memory of a Winter Ago (complete tune)

I like the chord structure - tasteful jazz composition. the melody solo is very slow with no fast runs, telltale storylike. octaves help mix it up too.

If I were you Id find stuff like this that you like covering, then make tons of modifications to it so that it is your own original, and just always do that when recording so you can take credit and your songwriting can grow that way...this is what most musicians do, look at led zeppelin!! ;)
