never seen the metal cover over the pots and stuff!! Just a dust cover or grounding??

That is an amazing axe!! Ive always loved black beauties, but hate how gold rubs off. I recently saw a pic of Mick Jones back in the day playing one like this with the chrome (his had uncovered pups) and fell in love with it. :eyecrazy:
