as promised, i managed to get a half-assed recording with my miro-br. you might hear some microphone vibration because i had the amp up pretty loud and the br recorder next to it, but hopefully it doesn't ruin the tone. trust me, it sounds so much better in person. (please excuse the mistakes and dry playing. my strings are rusty). here's the equipment i used and the modes i used the amp in:

-fender american deluxe w/dimarzio virtual vintage solo bridge and solo pro neck
-mesa boogie 5:50 combo

clean eq: treble=9 o'clock, mids=1 o'clock, bass=1 o'clock, reverb=10 o'clock
dirty eq: same as above, but gain set to around 2 o'clock

clean mode - noodling around, SRV riviera paradise sample
distortion mode - noodling around, satriani solo, eric johson solo, metallica solo

crunch mode - hendrix solo, pink floyd solo

OH YEAH, TURN UP THE VOLUME A LITTLE TO HEAR THE FULL TONE

Sounds good, I really liked the crunch settings very nice sound to'em. I've never been partial to the cleans that Mesa offers....I prefer Fender cleans but this one did a much better job than thier other models. Nice clips :)

haha redneck, cliffs of dover and hey joe in a single track!!!

Re: Mesa Boogie 5:50 Demo

no, seriously. i'm not much on cleans at all, but that's what got my attention with this amp in the first place. it's like fender cleans, but not as jangly. you really just have to play one to hear how good it is. you'll fall in love instantly. it's also very versatile. there's a clean, crunch, blues, and burn channel. the blues is less overdriven than the blues and the burn channel is like a hard overdrive. it won't do new metal as you heard, but it's so extremely good with pedals.

there's a 5 watt mode that sounds real sweet, so if you like the crunch channel, it's even better in 5 watt class a mode. even the burn channel loses some overdrive but gets sweeter. i'm falling in love with this amp and may soon lose ambition for the marshall jvm combo.

Sounds really good!! I've been eying these for awhile, and will have to consider buying one. Any chance you could record some samples with Ska rhythms on the clean channel and some fast grinding punk on the distorted one?:)

yeah, i'll record something much better. i haven't changed my strings for like 2 months, so it didn't sound that great. i'll give you guys all samples plus the 5 watt mode so you can see what it sounds like.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!! I think you'd be the first person to record any ska or punk samples in an amp demo. At least you are since I've joined.:)
