Mesa Boogie Mark IV Settings

Hey guys, I'm wondering if any of you guys out there who own MkIV's would be willing to share some of the settings you use? I will be receiving my MkIV combo early next week and would like a decent place to start tweaking from. I will try some of the settings they suggest in the owner's manual but would also like some outside ones. Here's what I'm looking to get:
Rhy 1: A nice full, shimmery clean
Rhy 2: A bold, cutting rhythm crunch (ala James Hetfield)
Lead: A warm smooth lead tone (ala Slash)

Any and all recommendations would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!

LB, there is a Mesa Boogie forum out there (I don't have the link but try Google). It's not a high-traffic forum and there are a ton of popups, but if you try that there is lots of settings info.

FWIW, the sample settings that come on the thing on top of the amp (or in the manual) are pretty good and will probably give you a number of good taking-off points.

on the rhythm 2 channel, it is much lower gain. so you wont get a hetfield type sound out of it. but the lead channel can do that.

what i like are the following..

for the rhythm tone...

gain-7
bass-3
mids-6
treble-8
presence-7

with the EQ on, have a slight scoop or a sharp scooped V.

for stuff other than heavy stuffm i use those same settings but with the EQ not on.
