W WhoFan Tommyologist Oct 26, 2011 #1 bought some Mesa pre tubes today to try in my old JCM 800... bought the premium 12ax7's rebadged SPAX7's.... they have a black rubber thing on them... i assume thats meant to help stop microphonics?
