Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp

I got myself a Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp. And am loving it!

:)

I love combining it with the V-Twin. It's lead channel is also cool.

Here is how it sounds like with a V-Twin and my walnut Warmoth hardtail strat with a PATB-3 bridge:

Holy crap you just keep getting better.

I have a Quad pre laying around that I've never figured out how to integrate with anything other than a hypothetical massive rack rig that I don't have.

Thanks!

ParameterMan, that Quad Pre of yours is one hell of a rig. MKIIc + MK3 man... Very cool!

Re: Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp

Congratulations on the score. I played the recording preamp as well as the Triaxis and both sounded absolutely incredible through the Mesa 20/20 preamp. Your clip sounds great. I've always been interested in those V-Twins as well.

Re: Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp

The V-Twin's awesome. It'll make you want to fill a semi full of wannabe junk pedals and amps, and send it flying off a cliff.

Re: Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp

Thats the preamp Cobain used on tour right? People always seem to diss his tone but I think it was perfect for Nirvana not a nice tone (though some of the clean werent bad) but in your face.
