Woah buddy! If he ever is interested in selling that Road King, I'm just around the lake...

My (plain Jane) Road King.

Here's my 5:50+ with a 1x12

And also with a 4x12 loaded with C90s

This amp is so versatile, so easy to use and has great tones available across both channels. It's my go to gigging and recording rig.

I also have a dual recto which I don't use as much these days, it's really more amp than I need. But it's still awesome...

I have a Blue Angel, the most in-Mesa amp they've ever made.

Cool amp!

I have a Studio preamp non-modified... good old Mark 2 preamp, no 2+c bla bla for me... :)

I love its cleans. I am running it into the power section of a 70's metal panel 1987 clone with presence and resonance... Love the results...

I used to have a Dual Recto for quite a while... and also a Mark IV very briefly... They simply have too much gain for my needs.

B :)

Re: mesa owners unite

Kinda had a love hate relationship with Boogies for years.
Right now own 2.
A 1st gen non reverb Subway Rocket combo

And a .50 cal + head

Here is the .50 cal unmiced live on my Blackstar 1/12 cab with a WGS Retro 30.
The little Subway Rocket I own I have owned twice. First time I got frustrated with the "feel" and traded it off to a buddy. It got traded to another guy who traded it to a local shop and about 6 months ago I found it and bought it back. Really love this little amp and it's not getting away again.
My Zinky is the wild child in my stable and will bury both the Boogies at high gain running dry with no effects. However the Boogies really come to life and shine running effects like a digital verb and delay in the loop.
I struggle at times with how "stiff" they feel live but always love how they set in a full band mix when we record live.

Tell me about the Blue Angel...
No master volume...can use 2 6v6s and/or 4 el84s...so different switchable power tube sounds. Maximum is 38 loud watts when all 6 power tubes are used. Cross between a vox and fender and sounds amazing with pedals. Best reverb I've ever heard on an amp top. The unboogie Boogie.

Re: mesa owners unite

If it has 2 rectifier valves, then it's a dual rec; there is a misapprehension that dual rec = br00talz, but I can see your point. Your setup looks beautiful, btw...

Dual Rectifier = two rectifiers (tube and solid state). Both the Maveric and Heartbreaker only have a single rectifier tube.
