i played one a couple of weeks ago, but didnt really get to crank it. from what i remember, it had a really nice clean channel, fairly close to that of a lonestar i had played, but maybe not quite as nice. the gain channel was pretty good sounding from what i could tell, but it would have probably been alot nicer if i could have cranked it. had a fairly marshallesque vibe to it, but retained some of the mesa flavor. seemed like it might be pretty heavy though, so if weight is a concern, you might want to look at the head and cab.
