I happen to try out a Stiletto while working in Tempe, Arizona.
The Stiletto IIRC has both the Trident and Deuce models and a heap of tubes with it making me thinking alot on the maintenance. It somehow looks cool though. Sound wise it didn't make me had the impression I wanted it.
But the rectoverb is different, I felt.
It has a switch to accept both EL34s and 6L6s and quite a down to earth amp.
The sound was pretty good in the very least I should say.
If i were your friend and wanted a change in the amps, i still probably trade it plus cash top up from the other side.
But this is just my opinion. Hope it helps
