Mesa V-Twin clips

I'm considering getting a Mesa V-Twin to do some direct-recording with. I'm looking to record moderately hi-gain stuff with it, but not brutal metal or anything like that. I've searched the boards for clips and I can't find any except for the clips on Zerberus's Soundclick site, but I love the tone on them. If anyone could post some hi-gain-ish clips, I'd really appreciate it. Direct recordings preferred, but anything helps.

Honestly, I've never heard a direct recording done better than with a PODxt and metalpack.

Well, I'm not too bad with EQ and I can usually beef up a DI tone as long as it's decent to begin with. I'm not really into POD's so much, but I might consider one if I'm not satisfied with the V-Twin. I'd just like to hear some V-Twin clips to get a better idea of how it sounds. I think I read it's not quite a rectifier tone and has a lot more midrange, and that's good for me, because I like to have quite a bit of midrange in my guitars. Besides, you can always do some cutting after it's recorded, provided the frequencies are there in the first place. Miked clips are welcome too. Anything, really. :P

I've never been too fond of the v-twins direct recording capabilities (I own one).

Well, for Direct to console tones you´ll be better served checking out the 4 clips in the streaming player at the bottom of the "Media" section of our site (infinite-ending.com), the soundclick clips are off the studio EP and are mostly a Rack V-twin through a 50:50 Poweramp and 4x12 or the rig in my sig.... sounds a bit different ;)

And it´s cool to hear that someone other than me likes my tone as well :beerchug:
