mesa v-twin or tonebone

Hi guys,, I'm planning to buy a distorsion pedal,, it looks like v-twin is a good one,, so what do you guys think about this v-twin? I heard that the distorsion sound of the v-twin is kind of muddy,, is that true? can I get John petrucci or Mark Tremonti distorsion from this pedal??
Does anyone ever heard of distorsion pedal called Radial Tonebone Hot British and Tonebone Classic??
