I actually think that is one of the few guitars I have seen recently that did the whole abalone binding thing pretty well. If I am not mistaken, the NJ Deluxe models were neck-through, not the "invisabolt" partial neck-through that you're mentioning.

hmmm I think I mis-spoke about this being invisibolt, I have been looking online for various specs. This isn't the NJ one, dif headstock mostly. From what I can discern, this is the regular neckthru. Looks that way from the backside where I can barely make out wood grain. Some of the NJ specs I read claim neck-thru as well.

Here is a picture of that invisibolt thing... mine is surely NOT that! ha ha ha

CTN after carefully looking at images of the original guitar it appears these abalone topped knobs are aftermarket.

I yanked them off and just put some chrome knobs on it for now.... looking on ebay now. whoo hoo

That's not nearly metal enough. It needs DERP inlaid at the 12th fret.

oh heck yeah!! If my ups carrier looked like that, Id go in huge debt ordering crap... Awesome guitar!! One of my fav V's on the market. Abolone is not too overdone on that one and I love the way they kinda accent the tips of the V. Congrats!!

That image is so ridiculous! Those boots would never work. :28: For a working woman on her feet all day, she needs more support. Let's contact OSHA, I'm thinking there's a work violation there. The rest of the uniform is up to code though since it'd keep her nice and cool in the summer heat.
