Oh Yaa I Dig Jazz Man
thanks man Im glad you like metal+jazz

Felix :
Oh yeah man I am into all forms of Jazz , cause Jazz is Jazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .
Truth be known I was doing stuff like that on my Chromatic & Diatonic Blues harps
with a Ibanez HD 1500 :
About 10 to 15 years ago then live in a duet and a 4 piece set up .
I did a Metal thing with my nephew two and surprised the holy$hit outa him and his buddies , just experimental in my studio .
I was also doing the Ibanez HD 1500 thing
Now since I am playing guitar ( my chops are up to speed now ) 13 years I am really going to go for it with a three piece , myself on guitars - harps and vocals and a drummer and an electric Pbass player .
Just listened to PBS and saw some of the video footage from Live At The Beacon Theater in NY NY by John Bonamassa and was impressed , I like the direction he's taken with a metal-jazz-rock-blues twist , I sort of lean in that direction a lot .
My axe is a Godin [ LGXSA ] :
It's a tripped out guitar . Lets me go places in my minds eye . That and my GNX4 Digitech DAW
and my Roland GR33 guitar synthesizer w/384 voices
and I am in heaven .
I get off with a simple set up to with just the guitar , GNX4 and my Polytone with 3 channels for soloing shows , it pumps out 100 watts mono
. I hook my bullet mic to the Ibanez HD 1500 and in to channel one - my guitar ( with the Roland in line with it ) to my GNX4 and into two channels and use the GNX4's XLR mic for my vocals , super simple for casual coffee shop solos . Same system for a duet - For a three piece I have all the P . A . set up I need with additional power amps and speaker cabs . The little Polytone does kick @$$ though , I use it for just playing my electric guitar through when I play only guitar , it screams big time and sounds super .
