Eh both are about the same for solos

and the custom seems to have quite a bit less output compared to the distortion. My JB in my other guitar seems to have ALOT more output, at least its saturated VERy quickly where the custom seems to need quite a bit more gain to get to the same point. But with todays amps you have so much gain its not that much of an issue.

That's probably because the Custom has a bit of a mid dip, while the Distortion has gobs of mids.
