Yup, a Boss power supply works perfectly.
Some Crunchbox clips.

The Crunch Box sounds great! Has anyone compared it to the Marshall BB-2 Bluesbreaker pedal?
One more thing i have tried both these, and the crunch box is far better in my opinion way more marshally and raw and authentic than the blues breaker. The bb-2 would be better for a boost. The jackhammer (by marshall) on the other hand is a very good hi gain jcm800 type pedal, heaps more bass than the crunch box and less mids.
I have one too and it sounds sooo good. The power supply on mine is on the end of the pedal at the top it says it can take 9 or 12 Volts dc. If you use the 12volt setting apparently you get more volume. Also there is a pot on the inside when you open the pedal up that you can turn to change the tone i haven't touched mine but just left it stock. It sounds up there with a good gain channel on an amp. Marshally for sure, it's also good for solo's it's very smooth when you use it that way,
Argghhhhhh.... you're absolutely correct Dills, the power supply socket is on the top!! Just been messing with mine and realised what I'd posted... DOH.
It's the Keeley Fuzz Head that's on the side. Anyway, I adjusted the internal trim pot.. I think it's a presence control, I've tamed the top a bit and at the same time adjusted the Fuzz head to give a more Fuzzy sound. So bring on the next gig so I can try them at proper volume.
