MI Crunch Box vs. Exotix BB preamp

I know the Crunch Box probably has more gain and a more JCM800 type sound to it, but I've heard some clips of the BB doing some real thick modded plexi sounding high gain stuff too. What are the main differences in these pedals? Sound wise, circuit wise, etc.

Sound wise you probably just mentioned them already.

The BB pre is also a good boost pedal. It lets a wee bit of the clean signal through as well which gives it a very articulate sound. When you roll down the gain knob, it can become totally clean. Many claim it is very transparent with a slight mid bump in the right place. I found that to be true as well.
