But what's the tone like? Can you program it for note bloom?
The best thing I ever saw was Rocksmith where you could plug a real guitar into a guitar hero type game and actually learn how to play.

i like rocksmith but i hated the tone I got in session mode.. only think i ever really used was session mode.. soloing over a dynamic virtual band was pretty kool BUT the sound quality was abysmal./.. NOW if someone made a stand alone session mode program that I could load my favorite VST's in.. f*ck yea.. take my money

ohh i know.. and you must understanding the VST inner workings as well as the inner working of rocksmith and specs that go with it is must too..cant solve a problem if you dont understand it

even though i didnt do nothing with it for reasons i cant go into.. i graduated in the summer of 2006 with a programming degree..main language was C++,VB.net, and a few flavors of SQL.. last time i slung some code was in 2010 when i was nominated lead programmer for an electronics class project..was a PIC micro-controller project in C++ mainly even though I used a bit of ASM too..

was reasonably good at coding and have been wanting to get back into it.. C++,VB,SQL but ive been really meaning to get into Labview again.. Took a class in it an it was fun but real damn confusing.. there is NO CODE.. just graphical icons..

Don't get me wrong, you know way more code than I do. Last thing I messed with was Fortran. But if someone were so inclined, it could be done.
Same thing with all the different video game platforms.

didnt mean/hope i didnt come across as all knowing.. i agree if someone had a small team of coders with some skill.. and some money..could be done.. way over my head though..

i just think this could be a real tool for guitarist instead of being a gimmicky game.. its pretty kool but its still a game to me
