Michael Schenker's Flying V

Hi folks, new to here. I repair and modify electric guitars, beer money hobby! I have been asked if I can do a copy of Michael Schenker's number one Flying V. Not a problem with the cosmetic stuff, plently of photos around but I'm having problems trying to find out about the electrical side. I know it has a Seymour Duncan in the bridge position, anybody got any idea which one or a suitable alternative? Also, could be wrong but I suspect the wiring set up itself is standard, can anybody confirm that?

I have hunted high and low but considering how popular he is there's very little technical information about his gear, especially guitars, around :banghead:

Hi,

his first V had a regular gibson T top, but later on, it got a duncan custom in the bridge, and a paf-style in the neck.

and indeed, its the normal, regular 2 volume 1 tone 1 toggle wiring.

That's great orpheo. You've told me more in two minutes than I 've found out in days of hunting the net :1:

As I say, there's plenty of photos of his guitars but finding any technical info is another matter. It was the Strat knobs that led me to believe it was a standard wiring set up and nothing fancy involving push/pull pots.
