this is local filipino american talent Jackie Chavez (SF Bay area) with her pointy acoustic. hot

btw, the Looks that Kill video by Motley Crue still remains badd ass

I think the first two Crue albums are badass, as well as their one with John Corabi. The others are "meh".

Funny you say Mick Mars should be rocking a pointy guitar. In the only Guitar World magazine I've ever bought, he had an interview where he said he hated all of the pointy guitars, and that he likes the traditional designs the best.

Mick had a Warlock before he got the Kramers. He'd loved to have at LP Custom back for sure. But with his condition where it is now, light guitars is where it's at.

I have to say I do dig the Mockingbird design.

First of all, I have Mick's condition or worse. I dig 11lb Les Pauls

Next - he rarely played BC Riches.

Finally, tiny little Lita played THIS for about half an hour last month…

Funny - I could've sworn I read an interview a few years back where Mick said he detested "pointy" guitars and actually preferred hot rodded Strats over anything else.

Can you say "paid BC Rich endorsee", or at least free guitars, during Shout At The Devil release time. Nikki too. That was they only period Mick played those.

Actually, most of Mick's Kramers were Tele-shaped.

I read that same interview, I don't recall if he liked them back then, but now he hates pointy guitars. He started collecting vintage strats in the late 80's and that's become b his favorite now.

Yeah, he's Vintage now with his primary being a Sunburst Partsocaster with a Fliyd and JM Rolph Pickups per Vintage Guitar Cover Interview a couple years back.

When I think about pointy guitars (BC Rich & Jackson) early thrashers comes to mind, not Mick Mars. Neither CC Deville (who judging by that clip) he seemed to have every BC Rich shape in every color. Or maybe these were on a loan for the shooting.

I guarantee in a fist fight between her and Mick mars, Lita would stomp him!

Yeah, read the same interview where he said he didnt like those 80s guitars.. I thought it was cool back when he and Nikki had the Warlocks.. Esp the top line one s that were set neck (or thru) and had the rounded horns.. I also loved that Guild Flying Star he had on the first album and early promo pics. !!

Even though Im not big on signature guitars, Id like to have one of the BC Rich Morice models...
