Microphonic JD?

In my mim tele i installed in the bridge a JD. I noticed that it squels at moderate volume and even at a lower gain volume. Also it acts almost like a microphone when i touch anything. Any bump or tap gets amplified by the pickup. Has it gone microphonic and need to be wax potted?

It is probably the base plate. You gotta redo the wax potting of the base plate.

Happened to me with a fralin blues sp tele lead. After using some candle wax and soldering gun to heat it, my problem was solved immediately.
