mics for acoustics?

i was just thinking, itd be nice to record some stuff with my acoustic, but i have absolutely no idea what to use. what are some good types/models? i wouldnt be looking to spend much more than $100

It´s a condenser..you´ll need 48V phantom power support in the mixer.

Imho..condenser are better for this stuff than dynamic mics (SM57 for example)

My bro has 2 of them and I´ve recorded some acoustic stuff with the mic..great result..problem is you hear everything..it´s very "sensitive".

Try what ever you have you might just like it. People do use SM57's on acoustic so don't shy away from dynamic mics. There are plenty of mic tips on the web for acoustic.
