Middle P-Up for Jackson.

Hi,
I have a problem and hope someone here can point me in the right direction. My guitar is a Jackson ATX (picture can be found here) and I've decided to change my pickups (finally!), as can be seen from the picture it has an H-S-H configuration.

I have settled on the SH-4 in the Bridge position and the SH-2N in the Neck position and had originally decided on the SSL-1 Vintage Staggered for the middle position but I noticed that it has what I can only describe as a 'sticky out' bit on one side (link to pic found here) that I assume will make it impossible to install on my guitar as the routed areas around that pickup is straight, is there anyway around this or is there a version of this pickup available that will fit my guitar? Many thanks,

Matt

Check out the SSL-3 it would fit in but it might not be what you're looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm having a listen to the clips now - just letting the tone difference sink in for a while. After a bit of further research (I've been doing this for hours now and my eyes hurt so much!:yell:) I stumbled across the Vintage Rails P-up, do you know how that would fair as a replacement as it seems to be the right shape and the tone is very close to the SSL1. Thanks,

Matt
