Can i control a pedal that has "external switching" via tip to ground switch through a MIDI controller? Can someone give me a link to one of these controllers with this function?

The Behringer FCB1010 has this. Costs about $130US...not bad for what it does.

Re: Midi Controller Question

Why not just use a normal tip to ground switch, like the Boss FS-5L or FS-5U?

Is your pedal rack mounted? Is it in a midi switchers loop? Do you already own a midi footcontroller?

If you tell us what other midi gear you have, it might make suggestions easier.

Great! I was looking at this one! I'm going to use it to switch amp channels and switch different modes on a preamp, thanks!

I use my amps distortion for some things, a seperate preamp for other distortion, and mixes of the two. The amp and pedal both have external switching through ground-to-tip switches. The Behringer will work perfectly, thanks for the quick responses.
