Midi Floorboard

Hey guys, recommend me a midi board. I was looking at two ... a ross midi buddy and behringer stuff. Any other suggestions? Expression pedals not totally necessary but having at least 8-10 switches.

You can get old Art MIDI controllers for around 25 bucks.... I own several. They have 5 switcher per bank. I also own a Rolls Midi pedal that has 10 switches, but i don;t think it was worth the money. As a matter of fact... I don't think any of them are worth what they cost new.

The Behringer can send a lot more midi messages (even more with the unofficial firmware)...if what you are controlling only needs the most basic program changes, the ART or Rolls might work, but if your gear uses CC or note on messages, I'd go with the Behringer. First step is figuring out what you need it for. The ART or Rolls boards are too 'dumb' to control my guitar synth/looping rig, for instance.

I use the Rolls/RFX MidiBuddy, but all I need are program changes. I bought it new in 2001, I think I paid around $100 for it, and it has never let me down.
