Mighty Mite Necks

Anyone try these? How do they compare to Warmoth?

I have a Mighty Mite strat neck with a maple fb. I love it. Its big but not huge and has larger frets then my MIM neck but I have no idea what size they are. The neck is also left handed and on my tele.

A friend of mine has one and here is the skinny on his, The fretboard is noticeably thicker at the lower frets than the higher frets, the frets sound dead when they are tapped on because of a shotty fretting job and the frets are not glued. You can actually see a bit of space between the frets and the fretboard. Mighty mite necks do not hold a candle to Warmoth. I would just spend the extra $$ and get a warmoth or a used Fender neck.

hmm... sounds like your friend got a sh1tty one. Mines nice as hell. Mines only a couple of months old, how old is your friends? becuase i've heard that the old ones were pretty bad.

I love mine, it's a birdseye. It is the most comfortable easy playing neck I have owned. Anyone who plays it doesn't want to put it down

Sweet neck Sweet Lou! Looks like there is quite a variation in Mighty Mite's quality control. It looks like the prices on thier site are higher than Warmoth's. I was looking at a few on Ebay that went for around $95. I don't suppose there is any chance of getting bird's eye at that price. Thanks guys :beerchug:

I got my standard maple new for $80 off ebay.

but then again it is a left handed neck and i think i was the only person to bid on it, so maybe thats why.

not to hijack the thread, but on a similar topic...anyone have any info on WD MUSIC strat necks? i was contemplating picking a birdseye one up...any info would be great.
