Thanks Jeffrec, that was nice. Mike was one of my first big influences when I started playing. His playing throughout "Wintry Countryside" on the Gravenites My Labors just seemed to have everything I loved about slow blues playing, the feel and dynamics... I actually got to meet Mike in '78 or so. He was on a Canadian tour, and we had a great old chat. I believe it might have been the tour during which he supposedly lost his Les Paul in Toronto. He was such a humble simple guy, it was quite something for me to meet one of my heroes. So that brought back some nice memories...

I got to see Mike after his loss of LP. He was using a white Strat and still sounded so great.
