Mikey Way signature bass

I had never heard of the guy before, but his signature bass is bloody hot!

I'd likely put a normal Mustang or Musicmaster pickup in it, but still a really slick looking bass. I am such a sucker for short-scale basses!

I only wish that the head was either natural maple or the same color as the body.

It's nice that his name is not on it too.

It's a bass. It could be made of cardboard and no one would be the wiser.

But seriously, I'm sure it sounds fine. I prefer that to some Asian mystery wood like some Squiers. I have no problem with basswood. My friend's Aerodyne J Bass sounds great.

Mikey Way is the bassist for My Chemical Romance. I actually really like these guys, partly because it kinda is the middle ground between what my friends like and what I like. Judge me or whatever. I don't really prefer the vocals, but the lyrics are actually quite good IMO.

It reminds me of MIJ Fender BECK signature Mustang. And no,it's not Jeff Beck's but a signature guitar made for anime series titled the same.

Still doesn't ring a bell! but it is a cool bass!
