I am redoing all the pickups on my strat. I am putting in texas specials in the neck and middle, and a pearly gates plus in the bridge. Are the stock pots good on the mexican stuff or should I replace them while I am at it?? Also, do I need a defferent switch?? The only time i want the humbucker split is when it's in 2nd possition (mid & bridge)

Thanks in advance,
RYAN

What year is it? Post 97, it's not really necessary.

If it's a Switchcraft or "vintage" style CRL switch I'd leave it alone. If it's a 5 way switch with the black plastic case and all the little terminals you can change it now or when it wears out...which might be very soon. LOL! Lew

For some reason those enclosed switches aren't real strong in the wear and tear department...
