MIM Strat pickup upgrades

I’m going to drop a ‘62 Reissue Strat pup in the neck. I’m pretty sure I want a ‘59 or a ‘59 Custom Hybrid in the bridge. The neck pickup is where I’m really uncertain. I’m thinking a Fender Custom Shop ‘69 but maybe there is an S.D. option that would work better. Any suggestions?

Not necessarily 'better', but for the typical 'strat neck sound' there are Duncan SSL-1, Antiquity 'Texas Hot" (but the neck is normal), Antiquity II 'Surfers'. Calibrated sets might work a little better than a mish-mash of different pickups, though it's possible to get individual models that work together.

The SD equivalent would be the Antiquity II Surfer, which is a really remarkable strat neck pickup.
