MIM vs H1 and MIA

Hi guys,

I've been out of it for a while and was thinking about picking up an extra tele to play with. It's a sure bet that no matter what I'd replace it with SDs What's the best bang for the buck? I'd like to have this guitar around to OpenG and mess around with Rolling Stones for a while =) So it's not like it's a main but I don't want it to sound like crap either =) Workhorse is the word =)

To compare go to www.fendereurope.com then to fender files. This compares the strats but it carries over. I'd say mexican than mod it. But try them out and see which you like best.

I'd go Mexi and change the pickups. I've got G.A.S. for a mexi Tele in Wine Red with a maple board. It looks beautiful and would match my Strat perfectly.

I can't stand Mexi necks. The rolled edges on the MIA and HW1 make all the difference to me.

Ya me too but i still use some Mexicans because they were cheap... The American neck is much nicer and has the bigger frets i like... But as far as Mexican Teles go the only one i think i'd buy is the Mex Nashville Tele.... has an alder body in some nice colours.... maple or rosewood board necks, Larger frets, 3 pickups, and 6 saddle vintage style bridge and vintage tuners... A lot of nice options over the Mexican Standard model.... and the difference is about $100!!!!
