Mini Deja Vive pedal?

I read through some reviews, but they didn't address my concern.
From most accounts, the pedal has a good old Univibe sound.
I just want to know how usefull and how much would the foot pedal function be practical to be utilized, because one can also get this in a non foot sweep pedal . Is that waht Trower and Hendrix did, is to use the pedal to sweep the vibrato a lot?
How chorus like is it? Is it at all also a good stand alone chorus apart from the Univibe thing?

Re: Mini Deja Vive pedal?

The Mini Deja Vibe doesn't have a foot pedal for speed, the MDV2 is in a wah shell.

I didn't care for the MDV2 mostly because when you turn it on you then have to sweep thorugh the speed to find the point where you want it.

When playing in the Univibe world the chorus setting is the classic pulsing Univibe tone...the Vibrato setting is a sort of a chorus sound but with a harder more vibrato like sweep to it...
