Mini Humbucker for Tele neck - suggestions?

I've got a Squier Classic Vibe Custom. Stock p/u's are alnico V's. It's already routed for a mini or regular hb for the neck position. I'm thinking of changing the neck pu to a mini hb. I like the Firebird mini hb sound. I play aggressive electric blues mainly, but bluesy, not blues-rock. I'm curious if anyone here has a suggestion as to what would work best with the stock bridge pu in terms of balance of sound. Does anyone know what the Fender Hot Rod 52 RI has for a neck min hb? Thanks !

I believe that is the pickup you are looking for, the one that's in the neck position of the Fender Hot Rod. I don't own one of those guitars but the ones I've played have sounded fantastic in the neck position, so it should be a safe bet.

Its very popular to use a mini hb in the neck. Best bet for me is the ant neck http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/antiquity/specialized-2/1101409_10_anti/, second is the vintage mini.
These Firebird are brighter and raunchier, the mini still bright but smoother (more in the direction of a full humbucker).

I played this squire last night witha 6505+ could not believe how good it sounded with gain!! I think I liked it better then the 900 dollar charvel! really it sounded very nice!

SD SM-1 works great and I think it might be stock in the HotRod
