Hey ther Minneapolitans and St Paulites.

Invasion From Planet K, my noisy instrumental gang of four is gonna Play The Whiskey Junction every Thursday, starting Jan. 19th. We are doing very retro tinged instrumental funk and rock. Heavy on the improv and heavy on the funk. We are the opener for On the Rocks, Earl Root's insanely fun hard rock cover band. It is going to be a blast!! We start at 8:45 sharp, go for an hour and turn it loose to the big boys.

1$ taps, cheap eats and lots of hot chicks.... ( best chicken in town!!)

Man, that's cool! I can't make it for the next two Thursdays, but I could after that. How long is your gig there?

BTW, I'm gonna be going to one of the Whisky's Sunday night jams here pretty soon, too.

Alvin Lee, my hope is that it is long term. If we can sell more beer that they do now, we will be fine. Sunday is my rehearsal night, man I wish I could come down!! It would be really cool to meet you.

I don't live in Minneapolis - I was just cruising around listening to different clips and forum member's tracks - and THIS band is just great. There's a handful of guys around here who really, really play - and Kevlar is one of them. I really dug it. If any of you folks reading this DO live in Minneapolis - do yourself a huge, entertaining favor and go see Kevlar's band. And Kevlar bro - why are YOU opening and not the other way around?

Great stuff dude - great chops. I know a guy with a really cool guitar label who might be in to your record there. I'll PM you later with some details.

I offer my most sincere thanks to you. That really mean a lot to me!!

I had to scratch and claw to get this gig, instrumental rock and pretty much uncharted territory for many folks. The promoter liked my polite persistance and also liked what I told him I thought we could do for his bar. I wanna trun this thing into a major party, the other band is a very cool cover act, full of lots of local notables. That should help us get exposure, the gigs we have done have been received with overwhelming response. So I really believe we can make the most of this shot.

Please PM me with any info. I am very interested in hearing more.
