Misidentification turns plans of interesting comparison into modding dilemma

So, I got two used guitars with Duncan Designeds I haven't even gotten around to plugging in yet, a spare Seymour Distortion and a spare Screamin Demon.... Jackson RR3 has hb108's, LTD Eclipse had what I assumed was hb103's, and so I was waiting for the modding itch to do an interesting comparison

Finally got that itch, decided to document the design differences opening the pups up, and then compare Distortion, HB108, and HB103 in the same axe... maybe even video it all.

WHOOPS, NO DICE. Open up the sticker-less bridge pup... see a small AlNiCo mag. Turns out the "103s" were 101's (59 knockoffs I think? Alnico mags, 8.70k bridge, 7.65k neck)

Which leaves the dilemma... what to put and where? Metal oriented sound desired

Yank out the 101's, move the hb108's to the LTD, give the Jackson full Seymours Distortion + Demon?
Toss the Distortion in one bridge, the Demon in the other, and give each a Designed hb101 in the neck, and save the hb108s?
Buy some A8 mags for the Designed bridge pickups, and save the Seymours?

PS really kinda wanna mod something
PPS no fspacing on the seymours, but eh, whatever, I don't really see 2mm making a difference. Especially on a bridge Duncan Distortion with its triple dose of ceramic magnetism
