i recently bought a kent armstrong pickup(#m215k) with an extremely high output.my thinking was that the more output the better (for shred and HEAVY metal) after reading all these posts in different forums,i dont know if this was a correct way of thinking.i'm in even worse shape since i do'nt know if its a alnico or ceramic magnet.thats what you get for not doing research,i guess.

oh yeh,i bought it for a ltd l2 goerge lynch cheapy (love the playibility).another thing,should o use the volume pot and three way switch that it came with?is there a difference in pot and switch brands?thanx for anybody's input.
