MJ is awesome... Custom Shop pickups...

I sent MJ my old JB for a rewind to S-Deco-5 specs, and my dad's old Sears and Roebuck bass pickup that had a broken wire in the coil for a rewind. I mailed it out two weeks ago, she recieved them this past Monday and MJ emailed me today and said they would be shipping in 2 to 3 days.

I cant wait to get a set of mine re-wound. Its really rare to have that good of service these days. BTW, whats a S-Deco-5?

If I'm not mistaken, it's a non-aged Antiquity (with Alnico V magnets)

Close, it's just wound hotter to about 11.5k. MJ said it was like a hot '59 with smoother top end and a bit thicker mids.

I said... I like the sound of that...
