Mod my TS9?

anyone around here who mods pedals? I have to say I don't really want to send my trusty TS9 to keeley. Him and his employees work is nice. But I don't think the tone is worth the dollars. I think thats why I sold my stock and modded BD-2's

I've had pedals done by IndyGuitarist in the past but Mr. Wampler seems to be doing his own pedals now. my Choc. modded SD-1 is AWESOME!

AnalogMan is far out my price range...

Any forum bros handy and confident with an iron?

Re: Mod my TS9?

His mod sounds great. but I'm not good enough with a iron to do it.

Check the first linky. His authorized team will do them for you!

Seriously, to hand a kit to a third party to save $20-$30 IS NO BARGAIN! Too many things can happen...Too many headaches! I don't think anyone gains when a modded pedal doesn't work. I would never solder up someone else's pedal, unless I knew them, although I would sell a modded pedal I knew worked !00%. This is because I have 100% liability/control on the process using "kits".

I am seriously of the opinion that it takes about $60-$100 US, to create a good soldering system, adequate enough for guitar stomp boxes.
