Bullet Proof Toneologist
While I am waiting to get my old Royalist amp fully dialed in, I thought I would toss this up. I cam across a killer youtube vid of an Epi Jr converted to a Gibson GA 5, with just a few simple changes. 2 100k resistors upped to 220k, and one 1 meg resistor removed, I opted not to do a bypass cap over the other 1 meg resistor, but went off the grid by upping one .022 cap to a .068 and another .022 to a .1 The result is beautiful grind and warmth out of a 5 watt amp.
The guitar is a kit build, a carved top LP with a single p90, a dream combo for me. Guitar came together really well. Opted for 250k pots, a .047 tone cap, and a low output p90 wound to 6.8k I am not a fan of a bunch of grind out of a p90, I like em tamed a bit.
Just messing like I always do, addicted to delay, so delay is in the mix... Loving this 100.00 amp, and a kit guitar I have 140.00 into. Cam pics upload, so not hi res pics.
