Hello buddy....Well I still owe you money,so if you want one,let me know? I've not modded a Rat,but I do have the schematics and the circuit is very simple...You'd have to let me know specifically what you want your Rat to do differently or your dislikes..

LOL....The SEM to me was too harsh and buzzy sounding due to the LEDs...I don't use LEDs to generate my distortion...I also don't use mica caps which I feel add a sought of "hi fi" sound to the pedals...I want smooth,tubelike,analog tones from my pedals..

Can't comment on the other DS1s,but my DS1 just smokes the Keeley SEM DS1....

Dig it bro! I only use the SEM when I need to stun a metalhead :laugh2: The PRO is my main DS-1. Still want to compare yours to "The Big Two" though after hearing how much everyone likes them. I'll be going to the pawn shop this weekend. If I can can find an "orange box" for $15, I think the 'ole lady will spare me the frying pan :newangel:
