Modern Dirty Fingers in parallel?

Have any of you tried it? I have a 2013 Gibson that came with one, and it's way, way, way too hot for me. But as far as I know, it's four conductor, so I might be able to salvage a usable tone out of it by wiring it in parallel. Normally I dislike the parallel humbucker coil sound, however, this one is so hot in output that it might work.

Thanks.

I did it but you have to realize it’s not what it’s meant for so it will never be it’s optimal setup.

If you don’t want to spend money it’s a great way to lower the output.

If you can afford to replace it put some
Nice Duncans in. Right now I’m using alnico 2 pros modded with alnico 3 magnets in my Les Paul.
