Here are a few photos.....your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Modern or vintage saddles

I much prefer the Callaham saddles. Superior design and materials. I like the example they give on the callaham site for the lenght of the string slot.

Re: Modern or vintage saddles

Use the callaham, but honestly, you did yourself the biggest favor by getting their block. Just make sure the screws on the front of the bridge are snug-that helps w/sustain. Some folks really crank 'em down hard, but the risk is binding. I have mine pretty tight and never had a problem-initially they were kinda loose and the tone/sustain improved greatly once I tightened them up a bit.

Re: Modern or vintage saddles

Ya I was thinking make this guitar look sorta traditional or more classic, cause the ones that came on it, aren't really true to the era that guitar is suppose to be anyways.

Now when I tighted the bridge, i tightened the outer 2 screws right down and when i tighten the others, the bridge lifts at the back......so i back those off like a 1/16" and it flattened out....Should they be as close as possible?

Thanks, guys.......

Feel free anyone to post your thoughts....all are welcome
