Modern technology meets vintage amplifier

I bought a '68 Vibrochamp recently. Great little amp and perfect for my weekly gig at church. However, it came with no footswitch, and I needed one in a hurry - no time for mail-order. So with a look through various junk drawers (and credit to Vintage Guitar magazine for the inspiration) I give you my new vibrato switch:

Maybe I should delete post #3 and go into business. I have a near-infinite supply of raw materials around here.

Too cool! Let us know how it holds up to the abuse!

That's brilliant!! And it looks cool too. A single-button channel switcher could be had too, just need a 1/4" plug on the end. Or you could put a 1/4" jack on the mouse and let it be a UYO (use your own) cable. Very cool.

A good place for heavy duty switches.......vacuum cleaner stores. Get some Hoover vacuum cleaner switches. Those make great switches for stuff like this. I've got in a small Radio Shack enclosure for switching master volumes on my Marshall.
