modified epiphone les paul custom

I just got a new wolfgang, and im considering getting rid of my epiphone.

It is a flametop les paul custom (coupla dings here and there, just finish not body damage).
Seymour Duncan '59 and JB installed.
4 x Dimazio 500k DPDT pots.
Jimmy page custom wiring job (split, split, out phase, series).
Refret + setup (would have cost $200AUD, but under warranty)

Would i get more for selling it as is what?
Because I cant take the SD's and put the originals in because the originals are 2 conductor so they cant work with the JP wiring.
And taking out the JP wiring is just seeming to me not a smart thing to do., being left with 4 push-pulls that do nothing.

Brand new in this country, all the work + parts would have come to the price of: 1900 AUD (incl. the refret.)
I got it all for: $1400.

Any ideas anyone?

Re: modified epiphone les paul custom

If you like the way it plays, feels, and sounds, I see no reason to even get rid of it. Then again, I never get rid of anything.

Re: modified epiphone les paul custom

Those upgrades wont add much, I would say $600.

Re: modified epiphone les paul custom

just keep it. you'll get far less than you expect. even a dead mint epi sells less than you mentioned let alone a heavily modified one. if you really want to sell it put back the original pickups and sell the SDs separately.

Re: modified epiphone les paul custom

Personally, I'd shell out $650 Canadian for it the way it is. I can get the pickups for under a hundred each used, and I can get the guitar new for just over $750 from a place which has a 30% mark up.
