Re: Modified Princeton Amp

I got a better idea... get a 59 bassman a 63 vibroverb a 65 Twin and just for spice a 72 metal face 50 watt tremelo Marshall. Get a BIG fracking blender... Throw in a few extra tubes, fuses and trannies (4 speed, automatic , cambodian) blend it up real good... when its nicely pureed dump it all in a pressure cooker for 30 minutes after that shovel it all into an industrial dryer on high temp (dont forget the bounce sheets you need these for freshness and to soften the tone) when done let it cool thoroughly before serving. Enjoy

Re: Modified Princeton Amp

staybobo, somebody already modified a Princeton circuit with 5881s and a Bassman tranny, and a cascading preamp.

His name was Randall Smith, and he called the amp a Mesa Boogie. :)

Re: Modified Princeton Amp

I think it's not a Princeton. In fact, after reviewing your list, I can't think of ANY parts it has in common with a Princeton.

Re: Modified Princeton Amp

Why would you want multiple instrument inputs and a mic input? The whole band gonna use it?
