So I got this amp that I love, but it's beat to hell from years of use. I snapped today while driving past the fabric store. Dropped 30 bucks on some cloth with a cool pattern, took it home, and reupholstered the amp.
Worked great... But I am wondering, is there any reason this would mess up the amp? It's a combo amp. I guess my primary worry was static electricity, as the new fabric is cotton, and it's up against the original vinyl.
Also, to anyone who ever messed with their amps... How could I light it up without causing noise? I assume fluorescent lights are out of the question. And regular light bulbs would add to the heat.
Thanks!!!
