Mojo Hand Colossus demo

So, my first semi-professionally recorded... anything. Gear used is on the SC page. Sorry for the speaker crackling at the beginning, I dunno what's up with the damn thing. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't. I was recording some original songs today and just decided to do something a bit easier - show off a pedal. So I picked the Colossus and just went for it. This is the first and only take.



More to come shortly. I hope to do both of my other muffs and my Weehbo JMP Drive tomorrow, and maybe I'll even get into my INFANEM Faye Sing. Maybe.

That's an OD into a big clean vintage Fender right? Sounds good, and that's always a tricky combination because of how clean Fenders are.

One reason I like to have a lot of OD pedals is that there's always one that works with an amp, and that same one may not be the one that fits a different amp. It never has anything to do with the quality of the amp or pedal, it's just part of mating one electronic circuit to another one. As you know, it's a fun journey.

The Colossus is a Russian Muff style fuzz, which is going into a Weehbo JMP Drive set clean. I mostly use the Weehbo for tone shaping, to make my Bassman sound more like a Marshall.
