My band just finished demoing this bowel-unplugger of a ditty. If giant fuzz tones are your bag, this should satisfy.

Man, I've been really digging your stuff - probably some of the most original sounding band I've heard in a while. I can hear influences here and there, but you really have your own sound.


Sounds like DFH2 to me? I dig the very raw overall sound of it!

Thank you, man! That's some high praise. It's really nice to know that our stuff comes off as original because I always feel like we wear our influences on our sleeves... you wouldn't believe the amount of stuff I rip off of bands I like.

And yes, you'd be right about the drums - DFHS (Good ear). Our drummer has a nice little V-drum kit so when we make our little demos it's actually his performance, but I'm not stuck with the task of mic'ing live drums (which I hate to do).

Thank you guys - I'm especially happy with this one because the other guitar player in my band came over yesterday and we tracked this one together. The other two I tracked entirely by myself, which I'm very comfortable with.

I'm very happy about being able to be productive writing/recording with another person.

We're supposed to be auditioning one or two people this week or next weekend. We'll see how that goes. You guys would be amazed at the "quality" of applicants we've heard from so far... like, week 1 American Idol bad.

Guitar tones are 100% PODxt.

When we go in to record a real record, we'll mic everything up and do it full-scale, but again for these demos it's all about efficiency and flexibility.

I was thinking that, it has the tightness and cleanliness of a POD track. So are the drums programmed or triggered?

That's awesome ,and the "second guitar" that pops in a while in the very first riff is amazing!

They're triggered drums tracked by our drummer on his V-drum kit. He might have looped something here or there, but I wasn't present when he made the tracks so I don't know for sure.
