Remind me if this isn't appropriate in this room

Tell me what you think, what the guitar with the most and the least mojo is... you can only choose one guitar or series of guitars.

I'll start

Most: Jackson USA KE-2 Kelly
Least: Ibanez RG Series (sorry Biu)

Re: Moooooooooojo!

Most: Gibson ES-335, Vintage Sunburst LP's, 3 tone burst early 60's strats, 50's Teles

Least: Ovation Breadwinner, Parker Fly, Gibson 'Gumby' Moderne

I've had enough with this "One only" type thinking ... excess is key here. If you've got a problem ... pick one from each list ;) :P

Re: Moooooooooojo!

Most: early production models of most guitars, namely, early G&Ls rock!!!

Least: crazy pointy things like B.C. Rich guitars.

I dig vintage looking stuff and I prefer natural finished-esque stuff. They do more for me mojo wise than something with a huge burst or something that is super shiny or has a really bland color scheme (like a dark green).

Re: Moooooooooojo!

Most. The Charred remains of Hendrix's broken and burned Monterey strat.

Least. Fender splattercaster.

Both Fender strats, but opposite ends of the spectrum.

Re: Moooooooooojo!

most-old strats, especially beat up sunburst ones with maple fretboards. also old butterscotch teles.

least-bc rich warlocks with agathis bodies.

Re: Moooooooooojo!

Most: Willie Nelson´s Martin or San Dimas Charvels (Some Pre-pro Charvels are supercool as well). Or generally most any high quality axe that has seen a few stages and has a few scars to show for it.

Least: B.C.Rich Body Art series, Ibanez RGs, ESP Devil Girl

Re: Moooooooooojo!

most: burst les pauls and old "aged" gold tops, theres a guy on the les paul forum named Al sompthin and his avatar is a close up shot of him playing his original 57 goldtop up on the high frets, not only having the most mojo in a guitar I have ever seen, you can actually "hear" the tone coming from that picture
least: any and all sharp/spandex guitars.... :wall:

Re: Moooooooooojo!

Most- Peavy Wolfgang, Gibson ES-335, Vintage Sunburst Les Pauls

Least- Ibanez RG's ,Vai's current Jems (except the triple neck thats Loaded with Mojo), ESP Devil Girl

Re: Moooooooooojo!

MOJO: 1956-1959 Les Pauls
NOGO: Ibanez Jems (except for the 1st series 1987-88)

Re: Moooooooooojo!

Most - Old beat up guitars that still play well.

Least - New guitars that don't.

Brandname doesn't matter.

Re: Moooooooooojo!

Most: CC Deville's pink Charvel from the "Nuthin But A Good Time" video

Least: That old beater Jimmy Page used to play.

Or do I have that backwards?

Re: Moooooooooojo!

Most: beat up strats and teles, and anything with p90s
least: most of the Godin and Yamaha ranges.
