More Fun with Custom/a2pro Combo

Re: More Fun with Custom/a2pro Combo

Thanks Rid.. I like the way you can go from clean to bigdark with that Custom. The A2Pro seems like a good all-round pickup.. I like it :)

Re: More Fun with Custom/a2pro Combo

Chris I use drum and bass samples, and import them in to my cakewalk program. I have a bunch of ACID samples and a bunch more that I have collected from friends. It's pretty cool. The cakewalk program will adjust the loop's tempo to compensate for the song tempo :)

Stevo nice piece. I use sonar, how do you match the tempo of one audio track to another. My brother and I are working on a tune. I had a drummere friend lay down a drum track, my brother layed down a killer bass track and I am about to do the guitars but on listening I am not happy with the drums and want to replace them. How can I drop in a drum loop and sinc it to my brother's bass?

Nice track Stevo!

Not much sounds better than a custom equipped paula into a Marshall...love those low mids.

Re: More Fun with Custom/a2pro Combo

Al - I don't have Sonar but it might be similar to guitar tracks. If you figure out the tempo of the bass line, then you can set the project tempo the same, and import it, then import drum samples at the same tempo. Cakewalk will stretch to fit loops like ACID loops. You can import wav files through the "file" menu.

Cool. The beginning sounds like you had been listening to fIREHOSE.
Cool! :saeek: My last band covered the Captain song.. I did vocals and played guitar.. our drummer and bass player totally smoked on that tune, but they had to really work it.. Firehose was a great goup :)
