More jam..little cookie

Re: More jam..little cookie

Nice work, Rid. What toys are you playing the Kramer through?
Your Kramer is a Pacer isn't it?

Re: More jam..little cookie

Thanks Erik:)
Yep this one.

Only thing I want to change, is to get an old style trem arm for it, I positively dislike those new ones...always unscrew themselves...bugger:D
Used my plexispecial through my Marshall DRP-1..I am on the hunt for a JMP-1 preamp as well.
Love hometoys...hehe

That's nice. I like those trem arms. That's what mine has. A lot easier to do corny 80's trem arm flips with it.. LOL :D Looks to be an American Series one too. Is it?

Re: More jam..little cookie

Depending on the year it's probably got a Sports body (USA Made) and an ESP neck (Japan). The guitar was assembled in the USA, hence the American Series script on the headstock.

Re: More jam..little cookie

It is from either late 87 or early 88.
Can't see enough of the grain of the wood, to really determin what it is made of, not that it matters much as I love the sound it has:D

Re: More jam..little cookie

What you have there is a Pacer Deluxe. In that time frame, ESP made body and neck, assembled in the USA. Sometime in late 1985 to early 1986 they switched production to ESP.

And sound good it does. :fing2:

Re: More jam..little cookie

Haha yeah I know I have a Pacer Deluxe..it says so on the trussrod cover;)
I have wanted this guitar ever since back then(flip flop white too), found it used some time ago, the jb was unfortunally dead, well the screwcoil was gone, I use the slugcoil with my creme 59b screwcoil now, it sits in my beater Tokai strat from 84, has an A2 magnet and sounds great.
The Pacer D is in the Kramer registry by the way.
Love that Vintage Kramer site:D

Re: More jam..little cookie

Oh, OK. Didn't know you knew the exact model...LOL. Well, I do now. :D

The Baretta was always my dream Kramer and when I had the chance to snag one I did. It was either the NYC paintjob or a tiger. Didn't like the tiger much at all. I used to have a CAR one too from the same era but sold it.

My Baretta is in the registry too and a pic of it is even in the graphics gallery. Can't remember the page though.

Re: More jam..little cookie

Good luck finding a beak or banana head. Those are getting hard to find. I wanted to keep the CAR Baretta but I didn't play it. The Kline NYC is a lifetime keeper, even though the neck is a tad thin for my tastes. I still love it though.
